A Series of Tubes

This is my current wishlist! Whether you’re a relative of mine looking for a present for a holiday or my birthday, or just an adoring fan who feels like buying something for me (:D), this is the place to go to find stuff I want. This list is not in any order. My shirt size is L or larger. I don’t mind things being used (meaning eBay, Amazon Used and New, etc), as long as they’re in decent condition. If you can’t make up your mind on which item from this fabulously-constructed list to buy, you can always give me money instead, and I can decide for you. I promise to let you know how the money gets spent!

I also have an Amazon wish list, but it’s updated less frequently than this, and is probably less accurate.

Now, without further ado, I give you:

The List

General Stuff I Want:

• Serenity, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2
• Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 – The Lego robotics system
• Amazon gift card – Useful for buying Kindle books and other awesome stuff.
• Apple Store gift cards – This will help me eventually get a new computer, or iPod, or something.
• iTunes gift cards – Help me combat piracy!
• Penny Arcade, Volume 5 and Volume 6 – This is a webcomic I frequently read, you can too by visiting the website.
• Applegeeks, Volume 1 and Volume 2 – Another webcomic I read, check it out here.
• MegaTokyo Volume 6 – Yet another webcomic. Read it here.
• Never Learn Anything From History – This is a collection of Kate Beaton’s comics, which mostly are about history, and are always hilarious.
• PlayStation Network Card – These can probably be found at any store that sells video games, such as Gamestop, Best Buy, etc, and they enable me to buy extra content for video games I own (new levels, costumes, etc.)
• WowWee Rovio Robotic Webcam – This thing is really cool, it’s basically a webcam on wheels that broadcasts over the internet, and can be controlled over the internet, as well.
• LOST T-shirt ,or another LOST T-shirt, or yet another LOST T-shirt
• An audio receiver for my TV, with a remote. Sorry I can’t really provide more info than that, I’m not even really sure what I need for this…

Movies on Blu-Ray or DVD, including (but not limited to):

• Breakfast Club (on DVD, unless you can find it on Blu-Ray)
• Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut
• The Princess Bride
• The Bourne Trilogy
• The Ocean’s Trilogy
• Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
• Seasons of Doctor Who on DVD: Season Two, Three, Four, and Specials (which was half a season that aired after four). I already own season one.
• Additionally, any Doctor Who would probably be pretty good, meaning the classic show. I already own “The Beginning” and Season one of the new series, but anything from the older series would probably be much enjoyed.
• Seasons of Lost on Blu-Ray: Season One, Season Two, Season Three, Season Four, Season Five, and/or Season Six (which doesn’t ship until August, but is still very much desired). I have all of these on DVD already (apart from season six), but I’d like to have them on Blu-Ray :)

I have Fight Club, Iron Man, the Batman Movies, the Lord of the Rings movies, 300, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and V for Vendetta already, but anything else on blu-ray would be great! Blu-Ray is preferable, but DVD is fine.

Camera Accessories (these are things I can use in conjunction with my video camera, to make it better! Kind of expensive, though…):

• Directional Microphone – this microphone picks up dialogue much better than the built-in one, can be useful.
• Wide-Angle Lens Converter – this makes it much easier to film in enclosed spaces. The major downfall of my camera is that you can never seem to “zoom out” enough, a converter like this should alleviate that.

Video Games and accessories, including (but certainly not limited to):

• Sony PSP

Rare/Myst stuff
First of all, let me just explain something. I am an obsessive collector of Myst-related paraphernalia. I already own all of the Myst games, all of the Myst books, and many of the Myst collectibles. However, there are certain collectibles I don’t own (due to them being expensive, rare, or something I just haven’t bothered to get yet for some reason), and there are a few editions of the games I don’t yet own. These items comprise this list, and anything from this list would be greatly appreciated.

• MYST: Book of the Black Ships #0 – From the extremely short-lived Myst comic book series. I have #1 already, to which this (I think) is a prequel. There should be an image with a telescope on the cover.
• MYST:Book of the Black Ships #1 (with the cover that has 3 people on it, not the island)
• Ages of Myst – Fifth anniversary special edition of Myst, in a cool box.
• Cosmic Osmo and the Worlds Beyond the Mackerel – Cyan’s first pre-Myst game. It was released for floppy drives and CD-ROM, either version would be great. This might be the rarest item on this list.
• Spelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo – Perhaps even rarer than the above is this, another of Cyan’s pre-Myst games. This, I believe, was only released on floppy disks, any version would be much appreciated.
• Uru: Ages Beyond Myst – To round out my collection, I need this edition of Uru.
• Uru: Path of the Shell Expansion Pack – an expansion pack for the above edition of Uru.
• Myst V – To round out my collection, I need the standard edition of this game. This is the white box version, for mac or pc.
• Myst V Limited Edition – And of course, the limited edition as well. This has a black and red box, for mac or pc.
• Any of the Myst books (Book of Atrus, Book of D’ni, Book of Ti’ana) in paperback or audio book format. I already have these in hardcover, and the combined “Myst Reader” book!
• Book 2 of the Crowthistle Chronicles (Well of Tears) – Make sure the CD is included! The book by itself isn’t interesting, just the included CD…
• Any Myst game for a system apart from PC or Mac (meaning PS2 games, Xbox, etc.) Doesn’t matter if they’re playable or not, if I have the system or not, whatever! Seriously, if it says Myst on it and its for a video game console, I want it!)
• Any Myst game in another language! If you’re visiting foreign lands and happen to see a copy of a Myst game in a language besides English, pick it up for me and I will love you forever.
• Any other Myst paraphernalia (T-Shirts, calendars, books, collectibles in general, etc etc. Clothes don’t need to fit, calendars don’t need to be current, if it’s an official Myst-related product I probably want it)
