I’m your average computer geek. I own and and love owning a 15″ macbook pro laptop with a 2.0ghz Core Duo processor, and several other computers as well. I’m a casual gamer, and I absolutely love the myst series. I enjoy long walks on the beach, etc.

the title

Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens, while delivering a speech on network neutrality, likened the internet to “A Series of Tubes” as opposed to “a big truck that you can dump something on”. His (incorrect) point was that the internet can get clogged with junk, and slow down everything. In honor of the senator’s humorous technical misconceptions, I decided to name my blog after his speech.

A Series of Tubes is run on WordPress v2.8, and uses a slightly modified version of the deColor theme by Webdemar. The font in my header is FFF Tusj. My hosting comes from DreamHost.

My gallery is powered by Singapore. I put a link to it in the nav bar using Redirect to Page. It is very rarely updated.
